There are many incredibly valid reasons to hate golf. Courses take up massive amounts of space and water that can often go towards more community-friendly uses. Clubs and memberships are intentionally prohibitively expensive to stop certain classes of people from participating. And the pervasive "old boys club" culture is stifling and regressive, with a deeply problematic history. 

But being "anti-teeist," or "ateeist," can be done with context. There's nothing wrong with going out and shooting a few holes every now and then, and enjoying a nice walk through nature with an easygoing activity attached to it. But the people who tirade against golf are the same ones who ruin every activity by forever reminding us of the world's suffering.
